Recommended and permitted shooting distances

• IFAA/NFAA Standard Round (Field Round):
  • 65 cm faces are used at 50 yards (≈45,7 m), 55 yards (≈50,3 m), 60 yards (≈54,9 m) and 65 yards (≈59,4 m) – each with single stake, two arrows
  • Also permitted are 70 yards (≈64,0 m) and 80 yards (≈73,2 m) – mostly at walk-ups or fan targets

Maximum shooting distance

The 65 cm Field face may be used up to 80 yards (~73 m).
For distances beyond that, larger or specialised target faces are generally used.
