The Easton 5MM Deep Six Steel X RPS inserts were developed specifically for Easton 5MM micro-diameter arrows. The robust steel construction and the Deep Six thread system ensure a particularly stable connection between arrow shaft and point and are ideal for high-performance hunting and outdoor setups. The Deep Six system was developed specifically for small-diameter arrows. The narrower thread allows particularly slim arrow shafts to be used without giving up a stable point seating. At the same time, the small outer diameter of the arrow contributes to reduced wind drift and improved penetration. The inserts are made of hardened steel and weigh 25 grain. Compared to aluminium inserts, they offer significantly higher strength and resistance to deformation.

Note The Deep Six Steel X RPS inserts do not use the usual 8-32 thread, but the special Deep Six thread. Therefore, only points and broadheads that are expressly designed for the Deep Six system can be used. Standard points with 8-32 thread are not compatible. Before installation, the inside of the shaft and the insert should be thoroughly cleaned. For a permanently secure connection, Easton recommends gluing with a high-quality epoxy adhesive or a suitable insert adhesive. Thanks to the robust steel construction, the insert is particularly suitable for hunting and outdoor applications where high loads can occur.
