The TopHat® Protector Ring is a stainless steel sleeve that is placed on the front or rear of the carbon shaft. It protects the shaft from splitting or breaking when hitting hard targets or from miss-shots. The ring is attached before mounting the tip or nock and thus increases the service life of the arrow.
