Note Half-Out systems sit partially outside the arrow shaft and distribute impact forces over a larger area. In combination with an impact collar, the front area of the arrow is additionally protected. Particularly with micro-diameter arrows, this construction can significantly increase durability while also improving the Front-of-Center weight (FOC). A higher FOC often provides a more stable flight path and better penetration in the target.
