Product description
Maximum stability with minimum drag: The Bohning X-Shield vanes impress with an aerodynamic shield-cut profile and ensure quick arrow stabilisation right after release.
Robust, dimensionally stable and strongly adhesive, ideal for ambitious archers in target, field and 3D archery.
The Bohning X-Shield vane is a high-quality plastic fletching with a classic shield-cut design.
This profile supports quick stabilisation of the arrow and at the same time offers a balanced ratio between guidance and speed.
The X-Shield is suitable for both recurve and compound bows and is often used in FITA, field and 3D archery.

Note
For optimal results, the arrow surface should be thoroughly cleaned and degreased before gluing.
The pre-primed base improves adhesion, but we still recommend using a high-quality vane glue for maximum durability.
The choice of the right vane length and height has a major influence on flight behaviour: Smaller vanes reduce air resistance and are particularly suitable for precise target setups, while higher profiles can offer additional stabilisation with wider points or in more difficult conditions.
