The 5-minute epoxy adhesive is a classic two-component adhesive consisting of resin and hardener that cures within approx. 5 minutes after mixing.
It forms a high-strength, durable bond that is mechanically loadable and suitable for a wide variety of materials including metal, wood, plastic and composite materials.
Processing is simple: both components are mixed in the correct ratio, applied to the surfaces to be bonded and held in place for the short curing time.
After full curing, the adhesive offers excellent strength and can be drilled, filed or sanded – ideal for precise repairs or fixings that are subject to mechanical stress.

Note
Epoxy adhesives like this one are excellent for stressed bonds that must withstand both tensile and shear forces.
Ensure all bonding surfaces are clean, dry and free of grease, as contaminants can reduce adhesion.
The short curing time allows quick working but also requires that parts are precisely aligned before bonding.
After full curing, the adhesive is very stable and can be finished to achieve a clean surface or exact fit.
