After breaking off individual segments, it is advisable to re-check the actual point weight as well as the FOC value.
Even small weight changes can influence the dynamic spine behaviour.
For optimal results, the adjustment should always be carried out in combination with arrow length, shaft stiffness and draw weight – especially in competition-oriented setups.

FOC value: how far the centre of gravity of an arrow lies in front of the geometric centre.
It is a central factor for arrow stability, flight behaviour and precision.

Every arrow has a centre of gravity.
If it lies in front of the arrow centre (i.e. closer to the point), this is referred to as Front of Center.
