Note The choice of the right point weight has a direct influence on the flight behaviour of your arrow. Lighter points provide higher speed, while heavier variants stabilise the arrow and shift the centre of gravity (FOC) forward. The matching diameter is also important: the point should finish as flush as possible with the shaft to minimise air turbulence and make arrow pulling out of the target easier. A little tip from practice: lightly greasing or waxing the thread prevents the point from seizing or coming loose due to vibration – a clear advantage especially with frequent training.
