BCY X99 bowstring thread is a state-of-the-art high-performance material for manufacturing bow strings and cables.
It combines the latest fibre technology with an optimised material structure to ensure maximum speed, minimal stretch and a long service life.
The special blend of Dyneema SK99 and Vectran creates an extremely stable string without "creep" (length change), while simultaneously producing a slim, round string structure.
This improves not only performance, but also shot consistency.

Note
X99 is a very high-performance but also finely tuned material.
Due to its thinner diameter, it requires less pre-tension when building strings than other materials (e.g. 452X).
Excessive load during pre-tensioning can negatively affect the fibres.
For optimal results, it is recommended to precisely match the strand count and serving to the nock and setup.
This achieves a perfect combination of speed, durability and clean nock fit – essential for consistent groupings in training and competition.
