The Penthalon Scythian horse bow is modelled on the historical bows of the Scythian horse-riding peoples and was developed as a durable beginner's bow. As the bow is shot over the back of the hand and has no arrow window, it can be used by both right-handed and left-handed archers. With a bow length of 50 inches and a maximum draw length of 27 inches, it is particularly suitable for children, teenagers and adults with a shorter draw. The durable fibreglass construction makes the horse bow particularly easy to care for and insensitive to weather influences. This makes it excellent for traditional archery, an introduction to horseback archery or use at medieval events.
