Note
The 35 cm field target face is excellent for training clean aiming and consistent group pictures at shorter to medium distances.
The smaller target area makes technique errors visible faster than on large faces.
Particularly effective is training with series on the inner ring or with varying distances.
This way you improve not only your precision but also your mental focus under competition conditions.
For longer durability, a smooth target backing with good arrow catch is recommended.

Recommended and permitted shooting distances

• IFAA/NFAA Field Round (Standard outdoor round)
  • 35 cm target faces are used at 15 yards = 13.7 m, 20 yards = 18.3 m, 25 yards = 22.9 m and 30 yards = 27.4 m, four arrows per target each
  
  

• Indoor Flint Round (IFAA)
  • Alongside 20 cm target faces, the 35 cm face is shot at 20 yards = 18.3 m, 25 yards = 22.9 m and 30 yards = 27.4 m

Maximum shooting distance
The 35 cm IFAA Field target face is primarily designed for distances of 15–30 yards (approx. 14–27 m).
In IFAA Field Round format, one typically shoots a maximum of 30 yards = 27.4 m.
For longer distances, such as 40–80 yards, correspondingly larger target faces of 50 cm, 65 cm are used
