Arrow energy is primarily absorbed through the movement of the net – therefore a loose installation with distinct folds is essential for effective stopping. For more powerful setups the system can be easily extended by mounting the net in a double layer.

Note An arrow net provides a very high level of safety but cannot guarantee 100% penetration resistance.
The actual arrow-stopping effect depends on several factors – in particular draw weight, arrow type (diameter/material), point shape, arrow speed and the type of installation.
A loose installation with folds is essential for maximum stopping effect. For powerful setups or where particularly high arrow energy is expected, installation in two layers (net doubled up behind each other) is recommended for safety reasons.
Also ensure sufficient safety clearance from the rear wall and that no persons are ever standing behind the net.
