Choosing the right diameter is decisive for the performance of your string.
A serving that is too thin leads to a loose nock fit, while a serving that is too thick can damage the nock or affect the release.

As a rule of thumb:

• Thinner serving .018" → finer nock fit, more speed
• Thicker variants .021" → more stable fit, higher durability
